We believe your deck should bring you joy for years to come — not headaches. That’s why Petra Decks offers a combination of workmanship warranties and manufacturer warranties on materials, plus clear service policies for ongoing care.

1. Workmanship Warranty

• Coverage: We guarantee our construction and installation work against defects in craftsmanship for 2 years from the completion date.

• What’s Included:

  • Structural integrity of framing

  • Secure installation of decking and railings

  • Proper fastening and alignment

• What’s Not Included:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage from misuse, neglect, or extreme weather events outside manufacturer tolerances

2. Manufacturer Warranties

We work with trusted decking brands like TimberTech, Trex, and AZEK, which offer 25–50 year limited warranties on their products. These typically include:

• Fade resistance

• Stain resistance

• Protection against splintering, rotting, and warping

You’ll receive the manufacturer’s warranty documentation with your project completion packet.

3. Service Policies

• Inspection & Maintenance Guidance: We recommend annual inspections and cleaning for optimal deck life.

• Warranty Service Requests: Contact us promptly if you notice any issues. We’ll schedule an inspection and, if applicable, repair under warranty terms.

• Non-Warranty Repairs: We offer fair, transparent pricing for out-of-warranty services.

4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

• Your name and project address

• A description of the issue

• Photos (if possible)

• Date of project completion

We’ll respond within 2–3 business days to confirm next steps.
